IT Support Specialist (Apple –Mac)

Our client has been providing outstanding IT services and hardware for over 20 years.  They are looking for a sharp, smart and passionate Level 2/3 Mac Specialist to provide assistance for multiple projects in a corporate environment.  This individual must have expert level troubleshooting and analysis skills within the virtualization domain. Furthermore, they will assist both Level 2 and Level 3 personnel and be a key contributor to the research and development of solutions for migration and escalation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical support of the IT network and environment of the company
  • Repair for client-server, network, infrastructure, Data Center, email, file shares, and other infrastructure issues
  • Supporting external and internal clients both onsite and remotely
  • Handles break/fix
  • Configuration issues
  • Software installations
  • Hardware repair
  • Diagnostic skills in relation to troubleshooting technical issues
  • Database administration


Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or equivalent experience/

Apple Certified MAC Technician is an asset


5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Expert in MAC in a corporate environment
  • Very good knowledge of Windows Environment Windows Network (worked and supported users in a windows environment)
  • Experience working in both Windows and Apple (MAC) environment
  • User-end experience/Back-end experience
  • Go-to person for solving difficult issues

Desired skills:

  • Experience with: Microsoft office 365, VMware, Hyper V, Server 2012 (very strong asset)
